"My daughter left to study abroad with tears in her eyes because she knew that she wouldn't see her cat of 17 years again. Her cat has cancer on her nose and because of her age we decided against the surgery. Within a month after our daughter left, her cat stopped eating. We tried many different brands and flavors of food to entice her to eat, but she wouldn't eat more than a bite or two. It broke our hearts but we knew it was "time". We were at Lemos buying food for our dog and in one last try we bought three cans of your Salmon and Sweet Potato cat food. Thinking that she would be gone before we could use all three cans. We thinned a small amount with water to enable her to lap it up and to our surprise she slurped it down and meowed for more. She ate the entire can! The next morning she was meowing to be fed and again ate almost a whole can. That was 2 1/2 months ago and she has gained weight, continues to eat well and her nose even looks better. Some of the scabs have actually healed and she is definitely enjoying life again! I actually think that she may still be around when my daughter returns in the spring! Thank you for an excelent product! But I do have to wonder...who ever thought of sweet potato for a cat?"

"I got Jackson from DAWG rescue in Santa Barbara in 2009 after we lost our wonderful Aussie mix to a brain tumor. Jackson is very friendly and every time we go to the Lemos in Carpinteria they just love him and he gets yummy treats for being a good boy. I am always treated so well there-it is the only local shop I can find the right Innova brand for Jackson. Jackson ended up at the right home-he plays Frisbee on the beach every day-lucky dog!! We are so fortunate to have found Jackson-he rescued us from our sadness as much as we rescued him. He is the most loving dog companion, so soft and cute, too!"

"I recently adopted my dog, Noah, and was having such a hard time finding him a food he liked. I came to the Santa Maria store and was very pleased with being greeted as I walked in. I was given many samples to try and discovered he really liked the California Natural Lamb and Rice canned, mixed with the same brand and flavor dry. This will be his diet from now on. More importantly was the wonderful assistance I received. I have been in the store several times already and different staff has helped me but EVERYONE has been extremely pleasant which is a rare find these days. "My wife and I purchased the California Natural Lamb Meal and Rice Formula because our dog Snoop didn't seem to enjoy the food we started him on as a puppy. "We have 2 dogs. A Miniature Schnauzer and a Jack Russell Terrier. Colby, our Jack has been on Nutro Max since she was a puppy (almost 9 years now). She has had chronic ear infections her whole life. Then we got Fritz the Schnauzer (he was a rescue). He's about 4 now. Fritz has a very sensitive stomach. I was at Lemos some 3 months ago, talking to Andy (Paso Robles store). We were talking about our dogs and he told me his dog also has a very sensitive stomach. Andy told me he uses California Natural and his dog is doing great. I bought a large bag right then and slowly introduced it into their diet. We are into our second bag now and the puppies are doing great! We just took the dogs to the vet last week and Fritz is doing very well as is Colby. It's the first time she hasn't had an ear infection ever when she's gone to the vet.
